Hey, I'm Thiago P B Bessimo 贝玉卿. I am a PhD candidate at the Hertie School in Berlin, Germany and a candidate for the CACD (Entrance Exam for Brazilian Foreign Service). I am a researcher of foreign policy elites in middle powers and during my PhD I have been developing a theory to explain the determinants of middle power alignment with great powers. I am interested in China Studies, Foreign Policy Analysis and Computational Methods in International Relations. I also have an eye for Think-Tanks and co-founded one myself in 2020, called Observa China 观中国.
